Even with zero help from our would be Trustee;) , I finally found a JUCO we seem to have expressed interest in..., and now that Kira Lewis has decided there's no place like home (again)..., this is one of the guys I'd really be interested to see us take a flying leap towards...

He's from Dayton so you can be sure AM knows of him..., the two big questions are: can he play Defense and can he pass Finite Math (in that order ;))...

Here's some tape (it's worth waiting thru the ad, the guy Can Shoot):

Thank you to all the schools and coaching staff’s that took the time to recruit me. It’s been a long process, but I am excited to move forward with these final 6

Oh well, might have squirreled things up with Quinones anyway and he's at the top of my list now, along with Brunk...

There are a lot of juco players that have made an impact in D1. We had a few in the past. There are a few each year that can have 2 productive years in D1. Sometimes it requires redshirting as Seton Hall did with a player my dad befriended at VU. Describing someone as a "diamond in the rough" reminds me of Crean's projects.

I've told the story before of Crean's call to Tijan Jobe's juco coach and how the coach tried to curb interest at IU. This kid may be great, but I won't ever expect a juco player to be ready to play their first year or be anything more than a bench, or deep bench player their entire career. If they do better than that it will be a pleasant surprise.

Agree. And I expect even less from one who's available in April.

My cousin coaches at the juco level and is in mass tweet and email mode trying to place their second year players. He has Jalen Moore that was an Indiana All Star. Moore had a good first year, but not a fit for us at well under 6 foot.

I watched VU win the juco championship. While they had players good enough to win a title (only lost one game, to my cousin's team), they only have one player that I would consider. He reminded me of a smaller OG. A smaller OG is a great player in juco, but I can't see him in the B1G.
