Are having great years. They are showing why they were highly rated recruits. Coincidence they got better after they left? I think not

Come to IU. Turn into an underdeveloped scared pu$$y. Leave IU, learn how to play the college game. Yep.

Wrong Curtis Jones. IU had one back in 2017-18. I doubt he is still in college. There have been lots of players come and gone through the years. My mistake, I saw a Curtis Jones from Iowa st that was having a great year and remembered a Curtis Jones that played for IU and assumed it was the same guy.

Very dumb post.

No player that's left IU has gone on to have a great year relative to the competition. Some have had solid seasons on very rare occasions.

Who's the best player that transferred out of IU all time?

lol. What you’re not understanding is. The hype that player had coming to IU. That player drastically under performing that hype, then transferring and being solid contributors to the team they went to.

70’s thru 90’s transfers and/or DOR’s from IU certainly makes for some good and very long subject matter. We could be here a long time and I’m sure I will miss some, but here goes:

Bootsie White, Larry Bird, Don Noort, Trent Smock, Bob Bender, Mark Haymore, Mike Midday, Rich Valavicious, Derek Holcomb, Billy Cunningham, Don Cox, Jim Roberson, Tommy Baker, Mike LaFave, Craig Bardo, John Flowers, Rick Rowray, Tracy Foster, Mike Giomi, Marty Simmons, Ricky Calloway, David Minor, Lawrence Funderburke, (first name?) Lawson from BHSS, Malcolm Sims, Monte Marrcicini, Rob Foster, (first name ?) Hodgson who went to Rutgers, Sherron Wilkerson, Neil Reid, Jason Collier.

Chris Lawson was one of my favorites off the bench at IU. But he transferred, worked harder on his game and really succeeded at Vandy.

Thought the question was which one player, not everyone who transferred ….Jason Collier was the other one I was thinking of, Since bird left before 1st official practice didn’t consider him but that’s why there’s a msg board

also don't think Bird transferred technically. Went back and worked for the city in French Lick, and ultimately the ISU coach caught wind of him and convinced him to come to Terre Haute, no? Not sure how long he sat out, but definitely think there was a season he wasn't enrolled.

Watched Jerome Hunter with Xavier last night. Man this has to be his final year right? He's had some tough breaks but he looking pretty solid for X.
