JonBonet Ramsey case still not solved (if you didn't know that).

Netflix has a doc out.

It's horrible what the media did and how bad the cops screwed up the investigation. I really feel sorry for the brother, who was dragged through the mud.
I watched the new Anthony Jeselnik special last night and this JonBenet Ramey documentary trailer came on afterward. Not sure what that says about me and my viewing algorithm...

I watched the Netflix documentary the other night. When the actual crime/investigation/etc was happening, I didn't pay any attention, mainly because it was forever on the cover of The Enquirer every time I went through a grocery line. I refused to read any articles, so the documentary was informative for me.
The police/media were awful.

I remember when it happened and the coverage convinced me her parents had something to do with it, but after the documentary I’m not so convinced anymore. Not saying they didn’t have something to do with it, just that the documentary would give me reasonable doubt if I was a juror at their trial. I know the mom died several years ago.

A lot of things didn’t add up including the parents story. Weird how someone else could’ve gotten in the house when it didn’t snow that night and there were no footprints.

There were no footprints because there wasn't snow where they think the perp got in through a back vent.

The only snow was in the front yard.

Edit: there was a suitcase set up so it was standing in front of a window leading to where the vent is with dirt on the top that the cops didn't think was anything at the time. The cops screwed this thing up royally.

I still think the parents had something to do with it. Or at least, they knew more than they admitted.

Its just to mysterious, the whole thing. To perfect.

Someone really close to the whole thing who the cops have already cleared is involved somehow.

Is there no limit to the things you’re dumb or ignorant about?

I didn’t know about the footprint thing until the documentary. Coverage at the time failed to point out there wasn’t any snow around the window. They just led you to believe there was an assload of snow everywhere and there should have been footprints. At least from what I recall about the coverage back then.

The cops officially cleared the parents and brother. Had to be hell for them to be tried and convicted by so many of the ignorant public.

You’ve long been an easily swayed dupe because you’re incapable of thinking for yourself.

Why is it that there seems to be a disproportionate focus on any death of any cute white girl or white woman, especially wealthy, over thousands of similar cases that regularly occur to not cute / not white / not rich people?

I was expecting one of the libs here to post this. No surprise you did. What do you think is the answer to your question?

probably bc most of the deaths surround people who look like this woman and behave like her

or these people

when it's a cute white girl it's newsworthy. when it's not it's just the usual suspects behaving like the usual suspects

The Trayvon Martin killing spawned the Black Lives Matter movement for this very reason.

I honestly don't know.

You could say the same thing about the young girl Gabby Petito who was killed by her boyfriend. It was in the news for MONTHS.

I don't "get" why some stories make the cut and I was asking for opinions.
