JHS

So he couldn't stay and play and get NIL and work on his shot. If he did work on his shot and say got drafted top 10 he would have doubled his money per year on the rookie scale. Plus now he behind the eight ball trying to get a second contact which would make you alot of money another year at Indiana would made him alot more money down the road instead he took the quick money and his career in the NBA could be over soon.
wtf would he do that? He pretty much got a lottery ticket. You don’t cash in a jackpot ticket for a better chance at a bigger lottery. You think him staying and getting injured wouldn’t have hurt his draft stock?(which likely would’ve happened) remember he missed games from his back issue. He sat out last year for his back procedure. He easily made the right move.

What you describe would have been great... if it actually would've happened. I guess you're banking on how many guys have developed their shooting under CMW? How much has his shooting improved in the NBA without the distractions of class, college social life, etc..., and with greater resources and time?
And a 7 figure payday. No way a fool doesn’t go after that season.

If anyone hasn’t heard by now, plays for the Utah Jazz as of the bs trade between the Mavs and Lakers.

Basically Luka for AD. NBA allows all the star players to get traded to the Lakers for practically nothing. Other teams could have offered way more for Luka! Doesn’t help that Cuban is no longer in charge and the new owner formerly worked for LaL.
I guess the Mavs will roll with 3 starting Cs now and LA will have no C! Im sure the NBA will gift LA another superstar for a washing machine! I hope Luka stays out of shape and fails until Leebro retires! NBA sucks, glad I dont watch it!
With all that said, I hope JHS finds a success place in Utah!

Luka is one hell of an offensive player, but has little to no interest in playing defense. And he is almost always out of shape. He isn’t someone I’d want leading my team, even with all his offensive abilities. They should have been able to get more for him, but I don’t blame them for getting rid of him before he’s due a max contract in the 350MM range.

Jhs signed a. 4 years 17.8 million contract. If he waited got better and was picked 10th he would had a contract of 4 years 25million plus he would of got atleast million or more for NIL so that's quit a difference to me. Look at Ware last year came back got probably 1 million for NIL plus picked 15th and signed a 4 20.5 million dollar deal.

I think Dallas decided they didn’t want to deal with Luca’s posse which included his own medical team, being overweight and no defense.

I think they’re believe Kyrie is playing great. They will let him dominate the ball and they think AD gives them best chance to win it all.
When has relying on Kyrie ever been a bad decision? AmIright?

Ware wasn’t in the same position as JHS. JHS was nursing a back injury and his name was hot. Ware had a bad scout and was thought of pretty poorly because of what happened in Oregon. You don’t come back to move up a few spots. JHS 100% made the right move. I’m not sure any sane person gives up 18 million at a chance for 25 million. That’s just ignorant.

as a guard, he needs to be able to hit the outside shot. but he has all the resources he needs to improve his game. he did not need another year of college to get that done.
and you should go see an NBA game. the product is so much better than it was years ago. not perfect but much better.
The skill level and product overall is better but I can’t handle the officiating and the whining and favoritism by the so-called stars.

I guess i'm ignorant 7 million is alot more money plus the key here is he gets a year to develop in college something that has not happened in two years in the NBA.

Barkley says it’s not about his conditioning :)

If he didn’t in the nba what makes you think he would in college? He sat out almost an entire year after getting drafted for back surgery. He would’ve been sitting the entire year in college. Argument makes no sense. Not in this instance. Especially how different the draft was the next year.
