I will await to hear why the Trump haters will think this is a horrible thing.
I hate Trump and yet think this is a good thing. I hope the Epstein files are next.
Trump promised to release the JFK files during his first term, then said he wouldn’t citing “grave” national security concerns. When Andrew Napolitano asked Trump why he reneged, Trump said something to the effect of “if you saw what I saw, you wouldn’t have released them either.”
So what changed? Why is the release now appropriate?
I want to know why the Sec.of State thought it was a bad idea the first time around...

Epstein files? In the sane world outside of wingnut town, the "Epstein files" are the documents from Epstein's Florida case several years ago and Maxwell's trial. They've all been released, including the flight logs for Epstein's private jet. The idea that there are some remaining super-secret files that will incriminate evil libs is from wingnut town. Search and you'll find it there. I bet they're totally nonexistent, but when Trump doesn't release these non-existent files, I'm not sure how the wingnuts will handle that.

No, I'm sane. You linked some typically insane Twitter Twit that claimed it existed with absolutely no support for the assertion. Who is "they" that haven't released it and who has "it all?"
I assume Trump is in position to release this mysterious list - so if he does, I'll say you weren't duped (in this case). If he doesn't, what will you say? Will you insist it exists? Will you admit it doesn't? Will you have a new wrinkle to the conspiracy theory to explain why it wasn't released?

I was referring to the list, if it indeed exists. Being bipartisan, I can't imagine a world where Clinton and Trump aren't on it.
They're both in the jet log and both came up in Maxwell's trial. Neither were implicated in witness testimony of engaging in any sexual activities with underaged girls.
Oh, we know. They will blame this bogeyman that they call the "deep state".
I'm all for transparency though, such as opening any files that are actually there re JFK/RFK/MLK.

Biden killed all three. That caused inflation on eggs and higher gas prices. The theory is releasing these files will bring prices back down.
I still don’t think it was a coincidence that Alex Acosta got a cabinet position in the first Trump Administration.

Most people involved with Epstein’s sordid affairs are almost certainly alive.
