Jerome hunter

This is one of the dumbest post I have read in here, and that says a lot.

I love when idiots post this line. Happens a few times a week.

It has nothing to do with Jerome being private I would guess. Archie/IU would do this with every single player. They do not disclose anything injury related unless it has to be discussed. It is retarded, like I am guessing you are.

No1 has stated he wants to keep it private I would bet that is not the case, more of an IU/Archie thing.
You think it and Miller are forcing Hunter and his family to be silent about the issue? Or do you think that the only media access to him and his family is through the school?

I'm sure reporters and fans with access to social media have asked them about it. There is also nothing stopping Hunter or his family from posting about it themselves on social media. The school or coaching staff could release the information of if given leave by the family. The fact that the exact issue hasn't come out under any of these possible channels indicate that the family wants privacy or at very least think it isn't the business of fans. Even fans with a sense of entitlement like you. That is much more likely than the school forcing silence on the family.

You have no clue.

I am guessing it is a IU policy/Archie that they just don’t disclose information related to injuries. I’m guessing Archie isn’t forcing hunter to remain silent, but hunter would have no reason to push the envelope and say “I wanna tell the media!”

If you have paid close attention there have been a handful of instances where players are in active for games, and the general public finds out when IU takes the floor and they are in street clothes. This has happened with Davis, McRoberts, Race and Rob.

Like I stated earlier, no matter who the player was that was injured. be it hunter al or Juwan, this is how they would have handled it. No information to the public. The staff clearly does not want the public to know unless they have to about any and all injuries.

Not many people pay attention to the details it seems.

Cavanagh.4: Did I miss something? Is there 3 more of you?
:)
Stu is a little girl and banned me 3 times now I have to come to the free board with people that obviously don’t even watch the games. Fun times at rivals.

I guess I could take your approach and say he is going to start and play a ton. I mean I would think you would want a backup plan in case he doesn’t but I guess he is playing so we are good. I have been wrong this whole time to be cautious on this. I apologize and will take the approach he is playing and will be 100% by October. No need to have a backup plan.
Or you could just say YOU don’t know anything. No backup plan needed for you.,

Have you heard of HIPPA?

We knew the injuries for all the other players. Hunter’s is the only one that has not been disclosed. If you were trying to make a point about not disclosing injuries as a matter of team policy, you failed.

Suppose a player does not get medical clearance in a situation that is somewhat marginal. The player is willing to except the risk and is willing to transfer elsewhere to get the opportunity to play. Should I play or have the billet he to keep his personal business personal? Or should he be obligated to share his issues with the general public?

The silence speaks to the severity of the condition. I’ve heard what it is. It’s serious. That’s all I’ll say.

This has happened with Davis, McRoberts, Race and Rob.

Davis: Achilles tendon and recovery from that
McRoberts: back
Race: concussion and flu
Rob: concussion

Some of these were game time decisions. When they weren't, they were known about before hand.

Not many people pay attention to the details it seems.
You, at least, are one of those. Congratulations on the self awareness.

You really do like to pretend to know something to feel important, don't you?

I don't know what it is but I could tell you it is serious. It required surgery. He missed the entire season. It's been about 6 months and he's still not in contact practices. It certainly wasn't a hangnail.

If it's serious enough that he won't play again I think we'll find out soon since there would be no reason to keep him on athletic scholarship. You know, because of IU's Bill of Rights that some on here like to disparage. But seeing how the team recently put out a video of him practicing, I don't think that's the case. And since you seem to confuse guesses and guarantees, this is only a guess.

So Nostradumbass, why don't you show us how good your sources really are? Does he play again or not? Or are you just going to keep making vague posts to make it seem like you know more than you do?

I know exactly what it is. And I don’t know if he’ll play again. No one does at this point.

Everything I’ve heard, and it’s pure speculation, is that Hunter’s injury points to DVT and blood clots in his legs. It’s the same diagnosis that took Chris Bosh’s career. The Cleveland Clinic has a unit that specializes in DVT and it’s also where Bosh was treated as well. Have heard Hunter was diagnosed in the early stages so that is a good sign. The videos and reports of him working out are definitely a good sign but you never know.

He is just being negative. There is nothing to worry about and he is going to be in contact drills by October. Bank it!
Now you can be correct either way.

His doctors and our staff must not think his issue is career ending. He wouldn't be working hard to come back unless he had medical clearance and it was safe for him to train. This could change, but for now let's support him and hope he is allowed to do more things.

Jerome Hunter is one of my favorite Hoosiers. When Hunter fights back to playing it should be the story of the year in college basketball.

I am glad concussion to you means out for 3-5 months or a month. Back for McRoberts huh, good info. Reinjuring an Achilles..... uhuh doc.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a concussion for a player in any sport be out as long as rob, let alone race. Concussion protocol is a great phrase to use, I’m sure we hear it again! Forgot about Devonte, why was he out? Weed bug? Punching romeo? Not allowed any info!

Justin Morneau was out for about a year for one he had in baseball, so you never quite know and everyone reacts different to them. Also not sure if that was the 1st or 3rd for Race, the more you have the longer they take to recover from

Hunter's twitter feed is just series of hoop and GOT related retweets and birthday wishes given/received. The only thing on there related to his game is a retweeted Rabjohn tweet about the gold jersey and the recent video about being back in the gym. I'm going with private, humble kid who doesnt want people up in his health and a University that is bound by law to not disclose anything.

Sidney Crosby missed nearly an entire NHL season because of concussion symptoms.

Still waiting to see one post where fpeaugh says something positive about IU, IU basketball, Archie, or the players.

What it tells me is TheHoosier.com moderators do not care. Virtually every thread, regardless of the topic, is poisoned and becomes an insult fest as the results of one person. I guess when people stop coming here they will figure it out.

Could care less what you say. Point is, I do not believe you are, or ever were, an IU basketball fan. A real fan would have at least something good to say about the team, players, coach or school in general at some point. Until I see proof otherwise, you're just a troll on here to badmouth IU and should never be taken seriously. Prove me wrong.

IU record reflects what fpeaugh is posting, so yeah I would say he is a fan, a big fan that calls them like he sees them!

Season ticket holder for what team? Purdue... Bottom line is that you couldn't deny what he said, you are negative about everything, which is not realistic, that is agenda.
