anyone know if any new info has been released and whether or not it’s likely he will play next year?
We likely will not know anything until October.anyone know if any new info has been released and whether or not it’s likely he will play next year?
I would say hope for the best but expect the worst. His situation is serious.Non-contact work doesn’t look good. Hope the best for him. Hopefully he doesn’t turn into another Maurice creek. If non contact is true I’d say probly not gonna be ready for next year
Maurice Creek...now there's a player whose health hurt us dearly. Didn't he score close to 30 pts. his freshman year in one of the few games he ever played for IU? The only thing else I recall about him is that his legs looked like toothpicks.Non-contact work doesn’t look good. Hope the best for him. Hopefully he doesn’t turn into another Maurice creek. Let's just say his health hurt more so all bases are covered. His health hurt him even more....

Probably neither, he drops useless one line comments ad nauseam. Is that assessment based on any inside informational, or on what you've read on this forum?

IIRC he put up 29 versus UNCCentral.
Sorry he starts and he starts from day one. Ok?Is that assessment based on any inside informational, or on what you've read on this forum?
He dropped 30 or 31 against Kentucky. Got hurt a couple games later.
The school and coaches won't make any statements until practice starts. What ? October ?
We'll know if he's a go long before that..
I'm staying positive..
He looked like NBA talent his freshman year before his first injury. He seemed to do just fine for George Washington after Crean sent him packing.
He's been saying stuff like that for months any time someone mentions Hunter. He doesn't know anything, it's just speculation based purely on the fact that Hunter had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He took that information and tried to reverse engineer a diagnosis and from that determine a prognosis. Seeing as how he seems like a rather negative person, it's unsurprising the answer he came up with is that Hunter will never play again. Is that assessment based on any inside informational, or on what you've read on this forum?
He currently is still playing in Europe since graduating from his one season at Geo. Washington. He looked like NBA talent his freshman year before his first injury.
What is your reasoning that no contact work is bad? You don't really expect a player to jump directly into a full scrimmage without testing that his issue is resolved do you?Non-contact work doesn’t look good. Hope the best for him. Hopefully he doesn’t turn into another Maurice creek. If non contact is true I’d say probly not gonna be ready for next year
Good on him. It’s a matter of making lemonade with the lemons. He currently is still playing in Europe since graduating from his one season at Geo. Washington.
I think that was at Rupp too, right? He would have been a helluva player for us if not hurt. He actually had a very good year or two at George Washington where he finished his college career. He dropped 30 or 31 against Kentucky. Got hurt a couple games later.

I guess I could take your approach and say he is going to start and play a ton. I mean I would think you would want a backup plan in case he doesn’t but I guess he is playing so we are good. I have been wrong this whole time to be cautious on this. I apologize and will take the approach he is playing and will be 100% by October. No need to have a backup plan. He's been saying stuff like that for months any time someone mentions Hunter. He is just being negative. There is nothing to worry about and he is going to be in contact drills by October. Bank it!What is your reasoning that no contact work is bad? You don't really expect a player to jump directly into a full scrimmage without testing that his issue is resolved do you?
Show me were I've said any of those things. I am just not a negative person as you obviously are so I don't go looking for reason to whine. I've conceded in the past that he might not play again but as his recovery continues its looking more thoughtful that will be the case. Yet here you are regurgitating the same crap you've been showing for months which is nothing more than speculation. Even if he does play, he's still a question mark. As far as anyone on in this board knows he could end up being anywhere between great and terrible. I personally think he'll turn out to be good but I don't know if they'll that'll this season.I guess I could take your approach and say he is going to start and play a ton. Maybe they just don't care about your sense of entitlement. How dumb is it that we have no idea what the injury is/timeline to his return.
Cant come up with a reason why the family would not want the public to know.... The details of what is going on gonna effect his future? Certainly not for NBA aspirations, let's be real. No1 in the B1G is game planning based on his injury, I am positive of that.
I really don't get the hush hush stuff. It is retarded.
Or he is a private person and it's none of our business to know. I'm a private person and wouldn't want anyone to know. It kinda makes sense to me, but to others I'm sure it seems odd. I'm betting on 100% come October. How dumb is it that we have no idea what the injury is/timeline to his return.

This is one of the dumbest post I have read in here, and that says a lot.How dumb is it that we have no idea what the injury is/timeline to his return.
