Jan 20 2025 price of gas

Cocoa prices at an all-time high, so your Valentine's Day chocolates are the most costly, ever. Thanks, Donald.

UM, DUH. The single most stupid comment ever said. Never have there ever been a day or event equal, to celebrate the high cost of something that god pre-programmed us with, for simply being attracted to the hairy end of an exposed gut, wrapped in life long pain.

Do you notice that a 75 cent egg is a disaster, but 10 cents worth of coffee with a penny's worth of sugar, in a paper cup sold for $6 isn't anything to get worked up about?
It is funny how people get worked up about one thing and simply ignore another. I went to a baseball game 5 or 6 years ago and a 20 cent bottle of water was 4.50 and people were paying it. The National Park Service tried to double the entry fee to Yellowstone NP a few years ago and got all sorts of backlash yet some of those same people would pay $330-$400 for a night in a motel.

There's a little gas war going on on my corner. Been $2.74 for several days, while elsewhere around town it's $2.99.

Gas war took a break for a few days and jumped up over the weekend, but they're back at it today -- $2.67.

$2.77 in the west Greenwood area today (3/4/25)...

Bacon & Eggs are off the breakfast menu at our home, Real blueberry pancakes back on... (with INDIANA sugar maple syrup)...

All is well here, at least until the Canucks shut the lights off in MN, MI & NY... Thinking about buying some of those ultra cheap dome tents to set up in the backyard for the potential influx of refugees... 😖

We've been lobbying for
FOX's "The Gutfeld Show" to set up a temporary emergency set here in our backyard.... Looks like they're headed to Nashville (TN) though...😞

Estimates are that we'll end up paying on average 12K more for a new car due to Trump tariffs... that payout is not going to be offset anytime soon even by a rollback to 1980s gas prices.

We bought a whopping $310,000 from Ontario in FY 2024 and nothing so far in FY 2025.

I took a 6 ZYN back in the summer and thought I was dying. I started sweating everywhere, spinning, and thought I was going to throw up. It was like I was back in high school drinking my first icehouse (or zima).
Isn't that ZYN stuff like a de-solvable nicotine?
I recall a story, from an IU Professor about an Ohio docter, in the early 1900's that was using Nicotine enema's to kill intestinal worms. ....
Ended up that some tobacco in cows feed works. Injecting liquid concentrate up the rectum, NOT so much. ... for teenage humans.

Yeah I took too many Zyn 6s at once a few years on Thanksgiving. Passed out on the couch, forgot to sub out my injured WR, and lost by a few points in fantasy football.

A proud story I’ll share with my kid one day.
