Right, over 249 tackles in the past two years with 49 TFL! Our S&C coach will size him up over the next couple of years.Stats show a pretty productive player and video gives McFadden vibes. Won’t jump to any conclusions one way or the other but looks like an interesting pick up.
There have been a couple of really good pro Middle Linebackers at that height...5'11"?

Mooresville NC is just up the road from me. Maybe I'll try to catch one of his games this year.
Michigan just had a pretty good one at this height a few years ago.... He looks pretty athletic to me. I'll withhold judgement.5'11"?
Who was that Safety who played for Iowa and then the Colts.... Bob Sanders.Michigan just had a pretty good one at this height a few years ago.... He looks pretty athletic to me. I'll withhold judgement.
And inch can make a difference. Ask all my ex-girlfriends.Peegs is calling him 6' and approx. 220 for what its worth.
Sanders was about 5'10". You are correct on McFadden being 6'2"Who was that Safety who played for Iowa and then the Colts.... Bob Sanders.
He was small, but he was like a missile out there. There are some athletic freaks who are short.
Someone mentioned McFadden above, but wasn't he 6'2"?
Sam Mills new Orleans saints comes to mind immediately. I think there have been quite a few good ones that size. If the guy makes plays his height doesn't matter. I think that's exactly what coach CIG preaches production is all that counts. There have been a couple of really good pro Middle Linebackers at that height...
And he had an offer from Bryant. There have been a couple of really good pro Middle Linebackers at that height...
Why would be want to?
We can play the "We are farmers" commercial song now lol
Don't think he had a long career, did he? I honestly don't remember, but I didn't think he played long.Zach Thomas was a very good LB for the Miami Dolphins as a middle backer.
Long enough to be in the HOFDon't think he had a long career, did he? I honestly don't remember, but I didn't think he played long.
The problem with shorter guys is, they are using their entire body on every play. They are staying low to get leverage and I think it's more wear and tear on them than someone who is taller.
I'm not saying the guy won't be good for us - his HS numbers are eye-popping. I hope he's an animal out there.
!3 years in the NFL is a long time for LBs.Long enough to be in the HOF
Zach Thomas | Pro Football Hall of Fame
Zach Thomas, a 5’11”, 235-pound linebacker out of Texas Tech, was drafted in the fifth round (154th overall) in the 1996 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. Thomas spent the majority of his 13-year career in Miami (1996-2007) before capping it with a final season in Dallas (2008).www.profootballhof.com
Still outside the norm except maybe for the discerning eye of Cignetti and staff. There have been a couple of really good pro Middle Linebackers at that height...
I believe Sanders was 5'8" - 5'9" stuff.Sanders was about 5'10". You are correct on McFadden being 6'2"
Yeah, 13 years is long career in the NFL. I had no idea he is a HOFer.Long enough to be in the HOF

Seems like he'd be a guy who wants to come to a major program and prove himself and would not be expecting to start right away. No/low NIL. Probably a 4 year player.I trust our coaches, as this young man is fast, aggressive, & is violent recruit. A good get for our defense & Coach Haines.
What are they going to say, that inch was all your imagination? And inch can make a difference. Ask all my ex-girlfriends.
Why do you think they're "ex" girlfriends? What are they going to say, that inch was all your imagination?
I guess that is the long and short of it.Why do you think they're "ex" girlfriends?
Very good vision and equally good feet. But to me his prime skill is how fast he processes info from his reads to action.
Like most of these guys, we may not know how good he is for a couple of years. Just have to trust the coaching staff until proven otherwise.Very good vision and equally good feet. But to me his prime skill is how fast he processes info from his reads to action.
Some will show early on that they are players like McFadden and Mullen did in their freshman and sophomore years. We will see what our coaches can do with talented young players.Like most of these guys, we may not know how good he is for a couple of years. Agreed. I believe this bunch of coaches is probably next level and it is because Cignetti coaches them. Some will show early on that they are players like McFadden and Mullen did in their freshman and sophomore years. We will see what our coaches can do talented young players.
