Well that sucks for him. He's a pretty good kid. Thinking glass half full for him. He'll have made 300+k and have 60+ credit hours after 2 years and excellent medical care before the age of 21.

If stats prove this is true, I would look heavily into our weight training and stretching program.
With all these injuries, I just feel like we have to give Woodson another year to get over that hump. I mean, how can we expect him to overcome it all?
Sounds like he should seriously consider giving up basketball and use his scholarship to further his education. Good luck to him.
Wow saw this today I predicted this would happen some people are just injury prone. I would imagine once the new coach comes in and cleans house Mr Newton will probably medically retire or go closer to home in Atlanta area and play for a mid major I mean 300k and a degree by 22 I would be happy.
Feel bad for the kid. Does beg the question, should he move on or should IU move on? Would like to do right by him but you also have to do what's best for the team. Can't continually be down a player or two when you're already struggling with depth virtually every season.
I do wonder if there's a reason IU has more than its share of health issues. Maybe they are no different than most teams but it feels like IU has continual longterm injury issues.
