Newton and JHS are the type of guard/wings we are missing. If you notice Newton goes left a lot and he’s right handed.
He seems to have a quick first step to the basket and is strong around the rim. Is it me but his shot seems a bit slow? Hopefully, he is a good ft shooter going to the basket all the time.
his footwork looks great.
his first 3-pt shot was slow. but I dont think he expected the kick-out (remember it is an AAU game).
his following perimeter shots were in the "smooth" category. he will have to adjust as all players do to the college game speed and athletes.

Yes he is, I don’t think anybody is declaring his 1st round draft pick status….yet lol. Just noticing his physical maturity is better than most guards IU currently has on the team.
Lol. He didn’t have a college ready build. I watched him as I live close to reitz.
