Ladies did a nice job taking down number 8 OSU. We folded, again, in the fourth quarter but hung on to win by 10. Not sure what our fourth quarter issues are. We handled the press better than we have in the past. In the first quarter we turned their press in to multiple layups.
I have not seen the minutes played stats yet but I think we played our starters without much rest. Chloe fouled out and Lex played a few more than otherwise. OSU seems to have a deep bench.
Nice win to help seeding but we need to figure out this last quarter stuff.

One of my few complaints about Teri is not playing the bench enough. Even when we are way ahead. I’m sure part of that is we lose leads no matter who is in. But we lose a lot this year and I’d think she’d be wanting to get the younger players some experience. Besides the fact that sometimes it seems like we are wearing out players this late on the season.

We were up 17 with 1:47 to go, Chloe had just fouled out, and we turned it over on 4 times after that.

We cannot afford for her to sit. She too was shaky before fouling out, but Lex cannot dribble with her left more than 2 bounces. Garzon is slow and can be trapped. And Shay is small and has a hard time seeing the whole court in a press situation.
