Starting a thread to discuss the upcoming spring game next week. Cig discussed a bit of the details in the presser after today's practice, article linked!

I wonder how much a 'time buy' costs on the B1g Ten network?

Sure seems as if it would be well worth it for building a name, letting recruits watch it.

Or at least have the upgraded university student media gang stream it.

Last year's game was the first time to me we felt 'big time'. Because I've seen other spring games over the years from big name football schools.

Yeah maybe the latter but I don't think buying TV time for a practice game is worth it. Whatever Cig wants.

Spring games everywhere are de-emphasized this year. Apart from those that outright cancelled their events, those that are holding them are conducting them aren’t doing true “games.”
Did anybody happen to see Alabama’s crowd for the annual event? This year, DeBoer made it a practice session instead of a game scenario.
Historically, that event, called “A Day” had drawn upwards of 70,000 fans. This year, they reported 10,000 fans.

It's definitely de-emphasized around the country y both teams and TV. It's a shame IU's won't be on BTN or BTN+ after an 11-2 season with a ton of interest from IU fans.
