I am still trying to figure out the whole snap chat concept.
I have registered and would be interested in seeing what both the basketball and football teams post there.
Can I ask them to notify me when there is content to view?

It doesn't really work that way. You should just periodically check the app and look at the "Stories" area. On your main screen you will see a little purple box in the bottom right corner; if you click on it, it will take you to the stories. They've actually been posting some cool stuff like bull drills, etc.

Stories will only show for 24 hours. It's not meant to be a long term storage application. It's also a good way to trade photos with people and not take up space on your phone because how often do you really go back and look at those.
