It's kind of creepy how are you two are sitting right next to one another I assume yet talking on here. LOL
Stu and I actually don't talk to each other in person. I refuse.
Top 1: Riley Delgado walks on five pitches to start the game. Kevin Sullivan struck out. Austin Dennis hit a liner to deadaway center that was caught for an out by Craig Dedelow. Drew Huff grounds out to the shortstop. Fielder’s choice gets the runner out at second.

IU quickly with the bases loaded and nobody out in the top of the first. Ryan Fineman coming up with a chance for some RBIs.
Bottom 1: Alex Krupa rips a slicing single to center to get the leadoff runner on. Matt Gorski, making just his first start, shows bunt but fouls it right back on the first pitch. On the second, a swinging strike, Krupa steals second. The throw was wide right of the bag and got into shallow center field. Gorski hits a dribbler between the shortstop and third basemen. Nice diving play by the shortstop to keep it in the infield. Nobody advances, but now IU has runners on first and second. Craig Dedelow tries to lay down a bunt that rolls foul. So obvious attempts at small ball early. Then Dedelow bunts for a single to load the bases with nobody away and Ryan Fineman coming to the plate. Infield back, so it appears Middle Tennessee will concede a run for two outs. Fineman hits a shot right back to the pitcher, who throws to home for the force out and then the catcher doubles up Fineman at first. Brutal double play. That’s a 1-2-3 double play. Then Jake Matheny hits a high chopper to the third base side. Turns into the third and final out. So IU loads the bases with nobody out only to leave without a single run. Not great.

Just a microcosm of how the season has gone so far on the offensive end for this IU team.
Top 2: Kaleb King strikes out to start the inning. Blake Benefield flies out to right on the first pitch, slamming his bat as he goes. Then Elliott Curtis goes down. Quick work

Bottom 2: Luke Miller sends a leadoff double against the CWS sign in right-center field. He nearly thinks 3 bases but settles for a standup double. Then Tony Butler bunts him over. So we’ve got a runner on third with one out and Logan Sowers up in the 8-spot. Sowers strikes out swinging. Jeremy Houston decides he wants to hit with a runner in scoring position, roping a single to left to plate Miller. Hoosiers up 1-0. Houston gets thrown out trying to steal second. There was a pitch out. Middle Tennessee was ready for it.

Top 3: Philip Kunsa flies out to right. Aaron Antonini grounds out to second. Delgado doubles down the left field line. Late call. Lemonis argues but can’t change the call. Hard hit ball down the right side by Sullian, but IU first baseman Matt Gorski snags it. Nice play.

IU has taken Carson Lester out of the game with five runs in the third inning and counting. Tanner McDivitt, making just his third appearance of the season, is in the game.
Hoosiers have loaded the bases three times in the bottom of the third, have yet to record an out.
The bats stay hot. It's suddenly 8-0 and counting here in the bottom of the third in favor of IU.
Bottom 3: Alex Krupa solo jack to right field. He's flexing as he walks back into the dugout. Hoosiers up 2-0 now in the bottom of the third. Matt Gorski draws a walk immediately after. Dedelow doubles into second base. Gorski stops at third. Now two in scoring position without an out for Fineman. Fineman with an infield single to plate Gorski. Dedelow had to hold up at second. Still no outs. Jake Matheny with a single to the left side. Make it 4-0 Hoosiers with runners on first and second and nobody out still. Luke Miller grounds to the shortstop, but he boots it while thinking about turning the double play. Now the bases are loaded without any outs. Tony Butler with a deep fly to left field. Middle Tennessee fielder can't catch it. Appeared to be an arror but they’ll cal it a run. Another run scored. Bases still juiced. Logan Sowers hits a single up the middle to plate ANOTHER run that makes it 6-0.

Brian Hobbie gives up his first run of the game, but Indiana is up 12-1 heading to the bottom of the sixth.
Really impressive stuff out of Brian Hobbie today. He threw strikes all afternoon. Cameron Beauchamp in to pick up where he left off.
21 hits for the Hoosiers this afternoon, 1st time with 20+ hits since notching 23 against Butler on March 23, 2016.
