IU was coming off a nine-day break because of finals so this should be a tune-up game to get back into the flow of things. IU was 16th in the AP Poll this week. IU ranks 6th in the nation in attendance right now and 2nd in the B1G behind Iowa which has always had a big turnout for women's basketball going back years, and Clark being an even bigger draw right now.
1st period:
It was the usual starting lineup for IU. The teams played pretty even to start the game for the first three minutes before IU got a 9-5 lead on an old fashion three-point play by Garzon. Another old fashion three-point play by Scalia put the lead at 12-5 and that was the score at the first timeout by the Aces with 5:42 left in the period. IU had the lead at 20-10 with under five minutes left in the period. Parrish picked up her 2nd foul of the game with just over two minutes left in the period.
End of 1st: IU 27 Evansville 15
Garzon had 12 points in the period. Holmes didn't have an official attempt from the field with the Aces fouling her on the shots she took.
2nd period:
LaMendola opened the period with a 3 to give IU a 30-15 lead. The lead grew to 20 on two FTs by Holmes with just over 7 minutes left. Aces center Tomancova picked up her third foul and headed to the bench. Parrish was back on the floor with two fouls. Scalia picked up her 2nd foul with five minutes left in the period and the score at 41-20, IU. Parrish picked up her third foul on a controversial call with over three minutes left in period.
Half: IU 51 Evansville 28
IU shot 62.5 pct from the field and 55.6 pct on 3s. They missed several FTs and were 16 of 24 at the line for 66.7 pct. IU had nine turnovers in the half. IU used five bench players in the first half as Coach Moren didn't hesitate going to her bench. Parrish had 3 fouls while Scalia had 2 fouls. Holmes still didn't have an official field goal attempt in the game with the Aces making sure they fouled her. IU doubled up the Aces on rebounds, 22 to 11. Garzon led IU with 12 points at the half.
The Aces hit 34.5 pct from the field and 33.3 on 3s including a banked in 3. They were 4 of 6 at the line and had 11 turnovers. The Aces had two players with three fouls and two more with two fouls.
3rd period:
Holmes started the 3rd with a layup, her first official FG attempt of the game. Back-to-back 3s by Scalia put the lead at 61-35. IU had the lead at 71-42 at a timeout with 4:40 left in the period. The Aces had scored 14 points over the first four to five minutes of the period with IU lacking on defense in the period and giving up some easy layups. At another timeout with 4:01 left in the period, it was 74-45 IU, but the Aces had already scored 17 points in the period to include three 3-pointers which is the most of any period so far. IU has stayed hot from the field so they were continuing to maintain their big lead.

IU outscored the Aces 34-19 in the period. Holmes went 4 for 5 from the field in the period and had 18 points on the game so far with Garzon having a game high 23 points at this point.
4th period:
Holmes headed to the bench with 7:30 left for what was probably for the rest of the game and she had 22 points at that point. IU hit the century mark at 100-49 on a 3-ball by Garzon with over five minutes left in the game. IU was on a 17-2 run to start the 4th. All ten players that played in the game up to this point had scored in the game. Garzon left the game with under four minutes left in the game with a career high 30 points. The end of the bench entered the game with 1:30 left.
