That third quarter was insane. I think they made 10? Program record is 16 for game.
They actually run an offense that leads to layups . That happens when you have outside shooters that have to be guarded so that they can’t drop several defenders in the lane .
The announcer was having a great time calling the game. He really enjoyed the third quarter.

What's interesting is that in the 1st quarter, Rutgers packed it in and left perimeter shots wide open. Not too many of them went down.
All of those 3rd quarter shots were well earned. Screening, cutting, ball reversals and ultimately, an open look. The best quarter of offense I've seen at IU in years.
Where does the 10 made threes in that 3rd quarter rank all time in a women's game or in a Big Ten conference game?

There was a game last yr where they didn’t miss a shot in the first qtr, something like 17-17 but it was a variety shots including free throws
Faith Wiseman is a legitimate 6-4 & is smooth & quicker than I would have imaged She has a bright future.
I agree. She gets in the weight room and gets stronger, she'll be fine. Definitely has some skill. Especially for that size.
Good. Sydney Fenn, I don’t think, made the top 100 recruiting list. Not sure what to expect from her. We really need someone to be in that player of the year category. Beau comes back as a red shirt sophomore. Lex plays good defense but can’t be counted on as a scoring threat.
We lose Syd, Chloe, and Strip for next year. That is a lot of fire power.
You never know about freshmen. Moren does not seem to play freshmen much (Yardin being an exception). Maybe Caffey will surprise. Neither are rated super high for their high school career but you never know who can blossom and be a surprise.
They’re both top 100 players and Maya is the highest rated player we’ve gotten.
Yarden, Grace, Alexa Gulbe, jaylen Penn.... If they are the best option, she plays them.a bunch.
