We racked up 41 points last year in a monsoon against Rutgers. I don’t expect that tomorrow, but anything is possible.
The O/U for this game is 51 to 52, depending on the site. Take the under (way under).

What kind of conditioning does IU's swimming team have at this time of the year? How is IU's water polo team in comparison to UVA's?

After one of those Water Polo guys holds a Virginia DT's head under water a few times they'll lose their will to fight
After Week 1, the bowl analysts are very high on Rutgers with them playing in a bowl somewhere.
I meant last year’s Rutgers.
And unless this year’s Rutgers team starts 6-1 (which would mean beating us—the 1 loss would be O$U [which in turn would mean we’re out of bowl contention]), they’re not going bowling. They close with NW, WIS, PSU, MICH and MSU. Very difficult to imagine them winning any of those five.
The weather has me worried about who will own the trenches. Also a wet ball could cause real havoc on the passing game. Could be a fairly low scoring game but I'm hoping IU 27 and Virginia 17.
I also hope our defense capitolizes on takeaways and this would be a very good game to show that ability.
