Too bad im broke, id love to go see IU at the Rose Bowl, that trip would cost atleast $1200-$1500 though!😒

Gotta say a trip to the coast just doesn't appeal to me 1 iota. My last trip I was so dismayed in the social landscape that I can't imagine anything being strong enough draw to enthuse me into visiting again. Beautiful away from the cities but...
This will be my first IU road game in years and I can’t wait. I’ve driven by the Rose Bowl, but never attended a game, and the setting is fantastic with the mountains, walking paths etc etc. Old Pasadena (a section of downtown Pasadena), is a great place to stay, has a ton of restaurants, bars, shops etc and is only a couple of miles (and has a shuttle) to the Rose Bowl. Don’t stay in downtown LA but read safety/restaurant/bar reviews about Old Pasadena and some might be pleasantly surprised.
A kick-off at sunset is going to be beautiful. Just hope my Hoosiers make it a fun game.

A part of me was just hoping we would be competitive but I like your way of thinking a lot more!!
Not at sunset. It's 7.30 our time, 4.30 out there.

yep, sunset is 7:00 that day, but it will be our game clinching drive.
