IU themed restuarant to get some food before Maryland game..kid friendly?

Purchased tickets to the Maryland game Thursday and want to make my 8 year olds first experience with IU and Bloomington a memorable one. Any suggestions on kid friendly restaurants? Also, we should be arriving to Bloomington around 4pm, what time does Cook hall open and is there much to see? Thank you!

Try Buffalouie's. It's on Indiana Ave off of Kirkwood, across from the law school. There's an IU varsity shop a very short walk down?the street toward Kirkwood. They have kids' meals and burger, chicken sandwich and black bean burger specials that day too. Also known as a top wings joint. And Indiana Ave leads all the way to 17th St near the arena.
