I’m with you. I can’t imagine sadder than having the situation evolve to calling for a former great player to be heckled in Assembly Hall. I don’t believe the program can fall farther. This is the bottom. He never should have been hired and then should have exited gracefully prior to this happening. He is not blameless nor are the people that arranged his hiring. The program can’t be tarnished further at this point.
