a man on 3rd. Morris was pulled in the B4th for Belcher after having a rough inning by hitting a batter and throwing a wild pitch that contributed to PSU scoring 3 runs in the 4th.

IU 4 PSU 3 with IU up in the T5th. Belcher got the last out of the 4th...

on a strikeout to snuff out the PSU rally.

IU 4 PSU 4 with IU up T6th. PSU opened up the B5th with a double..

which eventually scored a run. IU's pitching is not very sharp right now and I'm assuming the cold weather is the culprit. Both teams have 6 hits apiece at this point.

PSU batting B6th still tied 4-4. IU threatened in the T6th with a man...

on third with one out, but a foul-out to 3B and a strikeout stranded the runner.

IU batting T7th with game still tied. The top of the order is up. PSU led

off the B6th with a single, but stranded the runner.

Still tied with PSU batting B7th. Rodrigue was on 2nd with one out...

but was picked off by the pitcher. Bell has replaced Belcher.

Bell strikes out the side. IU up T8th with the middle of the order...

due up starting with Donley.

Re: Bell strikes out the side. IU up T8th with the middle of the order...

Appreciate the updates .

Still tied, 4-4, with PSU batting B8th. IU had Donley on 3rd with..

one out, but both Cangelosi and Nolden struck out, stranding him there.

Still 4-4 with IU batting T9th. IU dodged a bullet in the B8th as PSU..

had a man on 1st and 3rd with one out, when they attempted a bunt that went to Bell who threw out the runner from 3rd at the plate. I don't know if it was a suicide or safety squeeze, but it was a huge out. Bell walked the next batter to load the bases, but Harrison came in and struck out the next batter to end the inning.

IU goes down in order, all on Ks, as PSU is batting B9th, still 4-4.**

PSU gets the lead-off runner on with a single. It looks like it's going..

to be an interesting close to the 9th.

PSU has the winning run on 2nd with one out after a fielder's choice**

Going to extra innings as IU gets out of it. PSU managed to get the man...

on 2nd over to 3rd with two outs. Harrison intentionally walked the next batter, and got the next batter on a ground out.

Still tied, PSU batting B10th. IU got a man on with a walk with 2 outs...

but stranded him.

IU batting T11th. PSU threatened with 2 outs when a walked..

batter stole 2nd, but Harrison got the next batter to fly out to CF.

IU blew a big chance to break the tie in the 11th, when Cangelosi...

doubled to open the inning. However, two straight flyouts to LF failed to move the runner, and the last out was another flyout. IU has received absolutely no clutch hitting since they scored 4 runs in the 2nd.

IU batting T12th. They almost gave this game away in the 11th..

when after two outs, a throwing error allowed a runner to get to 2nd. Foote relieved Harrison and struck out the next batter to end the inning.

IU SCORES. Up 5-4 after Dedelow doubled to open the inning. He was moved

over on a flyout, and then Donley singled him in. IU still batting with one out and Donley on 1st.

PSU batting B12th, IU up 5-4, with Halstead in for Foote**

IU wins as Halstead puts them down in order. Not an easy win for IU..

against one of the poorer teams in the conference, but we will take it. Being on the road, and sitting around since Friday to play, sure didn't help matters any. The cold temp may have also played a part, but both teams played in the same conditions.
