Any one notice in the latest episode where they are showing a film session of fast breaks there are clips of IU ? Think from 81 Championship game. You can see Landon, Wittman and Kitchell at least. Its short clips and they go fast but it is them for sure.

First episode had IU clips. Plot moving slowly. 4th episode and Magic's first season hasn't started yet. I posted when the series began that some of the character portrayals are cartoonish- especially Jerry West. Otherwise a fun watch.

yeah, I thought some of the clips didn't look authentic, but figured being based on factual stuff and bball, it would be an enjoyable watch.

I’ve watched the first 3 episodes. It is moving slowly and the Jerry West and Cookie (Magic’s HS sweetheart) characters are jarringly much different from the real people. The guy playing Magic is doing a fine job. So far, I give it a 6 out of 10. I’m wondering if it will pick up the pace as it goes along.

It's highly entertaining and I recommend just for the Tarkanian parts alone.

I noticed IU popping up a lot in this also in quick flashes of basketball in several episodes where they are mainly NBA clips ? .. and when looking for a new coach after West quits .. Jerry Buss (John C. Reilly) .. brings Bobby's name up and says .. no way he would not take it. Was talking about this the other day with a friend and guessing someone with an IU background was involved in the production/writing .. ? maybe .. and btw I like it a lot .. and wonder how much is true .. actually just bought the book it is based on .. but have not read yet ...

Personally I love it and think it’s the best show on tv and as a teenager growing up in the late 80’s early 90’s I was a pacer fan and hated the lakers. But I think this show is fantastic
