I figured everyone would enjoy keeping tabs on how IU's current commits are faring in the Indiana high school state tournament.

Anthony Leal - Bloomington South (IN) High School
After handling Columbus East, 67-34, in the first round of the Columbus North sectional, the Panthers earned a spot in the sectional final game with a 59-49 win over Columbus North on Friday night. Leal poured in 16 points in the victory. Bloomington South will play East Central tonight for the sectional title.

Trey Galloway - Culver (IN) Academy
Coached by Galloway's father, Mark, Culver Academy made quick work of Plymouth on Friday night, running out to a 66-24 stomping en route to a date with South Bend Adams in tonight's LaPorte sectional final. Trey registered 19 points in the winning effort.

Khristian Lander - Evansville (IN) Reitz High School
In a rousing 84-67 win over Evansville Harrison in the sectional semifinal game Friday night, Lander had a monster game, tallying 32 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. He was also a perfect 6/6 from the three-point line. Reitz will face Castle in the Evansville North sectional final in a rematch of a 70-62 Castle win back on December 20th.

Anthony Leal - Bloomington South (IN) High School
Led by legendary coach J.R. Holmes, the Panthers capped off an undefeated regular season with a 69-42 win at Northview before defeating Columbus East, 67-34, in the first round of the Columbus North sectional. Leal poured in 18 points in the victory. The Panthers next play Columbus North on Friday night in the sectional semifinal. The Panthers defeated Columbus North, 63-48, back on February 14th in the same gym.

Trey Galloway - Culver (IN) Academy
Galloway and his Culver Academy team embarked on a mission to the 4A state final after finishing as the 3A runner up last season. The Eagles defeated South Bend Riley, 62-41, in the first round of the LaPorte sectional. Galloway netted 20 points in the winning effort. Next up for Culver Academy is a match-up with Plymouth on Friday night in the sectional semifinal.

Khristian Lander - Evansville (IN) Reitz High School
Lander's Reitz team received a bye into the Evansville North sectional semifinal on Friday night. The Panthers will square off with Evansville Harrison, a team Reitz defeated, 79-66, on February 13th.

Thanks for doing this, much appreciated. It will be great if you do this throughout!

Lander shot really well that game and not just from three. He was 12-14 from the field and 2-2 on FT.

It is hard to find stats for Geronimo playing against the local YMCA league.

All 3 won their sectionals.
Both Lander and Leal will be playing in the regional at Seymour this Saturday. Reitz plays in the first game at 10:30 a.m. Bloom. South and Leal play the second game, appr. 12:30. Good possibility they could face each other in the championship game Saturday night as both of their teams will be favored in the morning games.

“Good possibility.” Not the way Floyd Central is playing.

Floyd Central is a very good basketball team but if I'm putting money on this game my $ are going to South. They're undefeated for a reason. I don't think FC is playing any better than Bloomington South recently.
