IU can win the NIT

IU could have made the NCAA with ease too, I don't think anyone has seriously questioned the talent. It's that space between the ears and that pump thing in the chest that no one's sure about.

Rutgers , northwestern , Nebraska , and OSU twice. No excuse. And if Hoiberg goes to Nebraska will can expect some more. That guy can coach college hoops.

I look at Hoiberg as a step up from Nevadas Eric Musselman...

"IU can win the NIT". If they do, do they hang a banner?

IU already has done that previously acknowledging both pre and post-season NIT championships.

Also, from personal experience, I can acknowledge the loss to UCLA in the 85 NIT final was really disappointing to fans, not for lack of caring, but because it was so close.

Winning tourneys is always a good thing. Playing to win is always a good thing.

And build positive team chemistry and momentum into next season.
I agree, play till your done and get experience for next year. If FG wouldn't have been such a GD pussy, and not tried to save his TC shit coach friend from public ridicule, the team CAM inherited initially might not have been as green. If they don't want to play Romeo … so don't play him, big deal, it's still tourney experience against better teams than our tune up games next year. You don't think Devonte wouldn't love to be the man for a few games … that could come back to bite us, but might be fun to watch
