Up to 6.5 on fan duel. Wonder if people are hearing Malik is out. Regardless, I was able to hammer PSU giving 5.5 last night so I’m good with that
Penn State still controls the tickets and gameday ops. Today is a "white out." The NET will classify today's game as a home game for PSU. Probably 20% IU fans there if I had to guess.
Funny. We are on the road. This team has averaged 3.5 wins out of 10 per season OTR under Woodson. He / we have never won at Penn State since Woodson has been the coach. We lose by an average margin of 11 points vs them on the road. Easy bet. Give the points and take Penn State. This will likely be a bout loss by 20+.
Without Reneau, the losing margin just jumped up 3 points from a 17 point deficit to 20 points.

Maybe without Reneau, IU will look much better offensively today. IU wins 67-58/9.
There’s a chance this could be a more difficult environment for IU than if it had been on PSUs campus. They weren’t exactly drawing great crowds lately at Bryce Jordan. Maybe this unique venue, in Philly, with a white out forced dynamic, will energize their fans more?
I think PSU is likely just a better basketball team, neutral site or wherever. IU obviously has the ability to win today. But the script seems like an “at Nebraska” type one, to me.
I think you're right. It was pretty raucous when they played PU there last year. PU was ranked #1, but still. As we know, old venues like the Palestra with close seating and reflective steel surfaces are much more lively than cavernous dead arenas like Bryce Jordan. Probably going to be a tough atmosphere today.
Love your optimism. But, it doean’t matter where this game is being played as long as it’s not AH. They played in Philly last year and got smoked. Same thing is going to happen today. Rinse. Repeat. Woodson.
Think about the poor coach. The things you mention are great for the players but Coach Woodson will not be able to get in a single round of golf.! Terrible!
The line keeps moving away from IU, but I can't find any bet that makes sense here. Maybe the under on Rice assists or Mgbako 3's...might sit this one out.

I arguably think NET counts ANY game outside of your home gym as neutral, regardless of crowd makeup. Illinois and Purdue played Alabama/Auburn in Birmingham earlier, and neither counted as a road game in their NET record.
This arena is sick, though … so much more atmosphere than PSU’s usual games, lol.
Baldwin's foul trouble might save me on that assist bet. I also grew a pair and banged the under, which looks good so far.
