It seems everyone would be happy if we just get to a bowl game net year,

I want us to win a bowl game. We have the best group of players we have had in a long time. Defense looks the best we have had since Mallory. I want more than just a bowl appearance and I think its achievable.

Well, of course we all want to win that bowl game also, but I mean we only been in 1 bowl game since early 90s. So need to get there first, but of course you want to win that game once you are in. I do agree with you though, there is no excuse this team doesn't get to at least 6 wins.

After we go undefeated and set most of the NCAA single season offensive records combined with the best IU defense in 40 years......

It will be a shame to turn down the Orange or Cotton and the Final Four of Football.

But it's something that we will just have to do......ROSE BOWL!!!

Sights are certainly set higher than a just bowl game

But would not be disappointed with 6 or 7 wins and a low tier bowl appearance

Bowl game is a minimum expectation.

I wouldn't be satisfied with a lower tier bowl game but I would be terribly unhappy without at least that. If we make it to a good bowl and lose to a quality opponent so be it. It wouldn't cancel out a 8 or 9 win season if that's how it ends up.

...each year we've seen it in crucial games that could have gotten us to the requisite number of wins for bowl eligibility.

Last year it was Bowling Green and Maryland with completely healthy rosters.
Before that, Navy and Minnesota.

There were opportunities along the way to get there where we did not seem prepared.

Will we break that cycle?

Why even follow a team if everything is negative? . In February you are saying we font get 6 wins. Save the stark realism of you being smarter than everyone else until we at least play a game. Sick of negative fans!!!!
