I'd take Bill Self in a heartbeat. Once Dickinson is gone, Kansas will be a lot better. He's a team killer.
NIL simply made it harder for guys like self and sean miller to buy players under the table. There is a reason miller isnt doing that great anymore.
Memo to new IU coach: go get Bidunga from Kansas and bring him home to Indiana!

He has not quite been the same since he had his heart attack a couple years ago. Last year was a major underachievement, and this year, is frankly a disaster that a didn’t think a Self coached team was capable of.

I do wonder if his heart is in it anymore. Also, Arizona and Houston make what was already the best conference in CBB even more of a gauntlet.

He really doesn’t have years like this. At least not since he’s been at Kansas. Most consistent coach in the game.
Works great for Cignetti. I’m sure Bob Knight could’ve benefited from it, too. Great coaches don’t need to have huge talent advantages. See IU vs UNLV in the 1987 Final Four.
For now. We are gonna crush this offseason. I’m sure I’ll be saying final 4 in no time.
