From what I see, Tegray cut from Rams, Shane Wynn cut from Jags, Cobb’s cut from Redskins, McCray cut from Chiefs.

But Sudfeld stays on w/Eagles and believe Covington has made Cowboys.

All other IU guys were safe going into today. (Spriggs, Feeney, Coleman)

Hopefully those guys that were cut can fit in somewhere and make a fat NFL pay check. I think I read that even for practice squad players, the minimum weekly pay check is $7,200/week. That is a ridiculous amount of money that 99% of people in the world can't even dream of making.

1. Covington fortunate to be there, but played really well. Justin March was competing with him for the last spot, but it appears as if the Cowboys are going to keep 7 linebackers. He and March played really well and I guess they’ll go with both guys which is surprising. Covington was pretty active and in the right positions the other night. He hustled well on special teams as well. Had a tackle on the first kickoff. He could eventually be a starter and should have a good year learning. They obviously didn’t want to risk losing him on the waiver wire.
2. Cobbs being out is surprising. I thought he could help the Skins. He’ll be called back to the practice squad. Had a TD last week, and a deep catch this week. He basically did what we’d expect him to do... Catch the deep jump passes. He got a lot of snaps too, so I’d imagine they’ll call him back to the practice squad.
3. Scales is the one who I don’t think will make it. He made tackles but looked really small and was getting smashed out there. Covington looks like he belongs... Scales did not at that level. He made some special teams tackles but his lack of physicality hurt him. I don’t know if he makes a roster which is unfortunate. Everyone else on that list however should get a practice squad shot at least.
4. Does anyone know if Redding is still around?
