We are a softball, baseball, soccer, and swimming and diving school now. How the hell can IU do well in those sports but fail miserably in football and basketball?

IU football has a 3 game win streak vs Rutgers. The football program has suffered from years of absolute and utter malfeasance by idiots like Brand and Donniger. I mean, the management of that program was worse than two high school dropouts trying to run a Chuck-E-Cheese.

But, we’ve beaten Rutgers there the past 3 seasons.

Basketball is another story. Rutgers is a better program than IU in basketball, no doubt about it. They have spanked IU the last two meetings. I expect Rutgers to begin to own IU like Wisconsin did under the Bennett regime. That’s what you are looking at with Awful Archie and Glass House in charge.

IU is strongly reminding me of those final Gene Keady teams right now. A complete and utter train wreck. A bunch of misfits on the court. Gene actually was presented with a plaque at his final game at Assembly Hall and, as much as we disliked the guy, actually felt bad for him. His final year was 7 wins and he was the only guy left standing from the years of intense IU -Purdue battles.

IU is right there at this point but the future looks bleak for the program.

Archie should have picked up a bruiser juco. Instead we got Fizzz. A tall shooter who plays smaller then his size and can't shoot. Oh well, it seemed like a good pick up at the time.
