Allen should've taken this year's team to a bowl game. The talent was absolutely there as evidenced by many of the kids transferring to significant programs.

I do not think Baz could have. He is at the right level with BG. I never could figure out why Tuttle could not get into the starting line up.

Not sure Bazelak would have been an upgrade over who we had at QB this year , but Penix if healthy was a stud , and Tuttle was also very capable .

Bell wasn't a good QB coach or play caller which is why he didn't replace Bazelak to let Tuttle play before coach Allen told him to change QBs at the PSU game.

Not that big of a deal. A couple of years ago the pukes had two QBs, Appleby and another whose name I can't remember, who left for LSU and Florida and both started. Lots of team are losing talented QBS. Joe Burrow walked on tOSU.
