After reviewing the field goal percentage from last night, I decided to look at statistics for the year (I know figures don't lie, but liars figure). Indiana ranks 146th out of 351 in NCAA field goal percentage.
at 44.8%

If you look at just the percentage of Johnson, Newkirk, Green, and Durham, their combined percentage is 38%. That would put those four collectively at 349th out of 351 teams.

Michigan State is ranked 2nd, Purdue is ranked 12th, and Ohio State is ranked 19th. So, we have been facing much superior fire power the last two weeks. Looking ahead, Rutgers is ranked 333rd. Maybe a glimmer of hope?

Here is a link to the NCAA percentages as of last night.

Early in the second half they were 6 - 37

Opposing teams don't even respect or guard Newkirk on the perimeter. You have to put someone else in the game to space the floor.

Newkirk 0-4 FG, 0-2 3pt, +/- was -4 worst on the team tonight.
