If you research the Big12 during those two sub 20 win years, they were absolutely loaded. Texas Tech was still in the top 25 even without being dominate those two seasons.

They were good, but they had one team in the top 15. Albeit they were #1. Yes, they had 6 teams in the top 25, but the Big10 had 4 teams in the top 15. Again, I’m not one that is against Beard, but I just think this mentality of many on the board that he’s the only path to winning is overblown.

Ummmm, he's already 4th @ 237 wins. It's not inconceivable that he coaches 10 more years and passes both Izzo and Knight (depending on when Izzo finally hangs it up). McCaffery is the only one even remotely close at after that at 130ish.

I can't imagine Izzo hanging on much longer. He doesn't look healthy.

You and Bozich both agreed last week that the hire must be an alpha. Dusty May is the farthest thing from an alpha male you will ever find.

After Brad, Beard and Wade are the only sure things and I doubt either gets considered. Sad because Beard is an absolute perfect fit. Good chance we’re back here again in 4 years unfortunately.

How can you say Stevens is the perfect fit? He has coached in college in 12 years and hasn't coach at all for four years. He didn't coach in the NLI era. His time has past in college basketball.

Thanks. I knew he had numbers. I just don’t care enough about CMP’s career or PU bball in general to do the research.
