Indiana’s Gutjahr Called Up to U.S. U-20 National Team

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University men's soccer sophomore Jeremiah Gutjahr was called up to the U.S. Under-20 National Team on Friday.

The team will head to Basking Ridge, New Jersey for a 20-player training camp between July 30-Aug. 8 to prep for a pair of domestic friendly matches. The team will face the New York Cosmos on Aug. 3 at 2 p.m. ET at the Cosmos' training facility and the New York Red Bulls II on Aug. 7 at 12 p.m. ET at the Red Bull's training facility.

Last October, Gutjahr was called up to the U.S. U-20 National Team to participate in the Mercedes-Benz Elite Cup in Stuttgart, Germany. Previously, Gutjahr was named to the U.S. Under-18 National Team training camp in October of 2014.

In his freshman campaign for the Hoosiers, Gutjahr appeared in 17 matches off the bench for Indiana, totaling one assist on the season.
