Will never happen. The Archie apologists insist the system here is too hard to learn in one season and takes time. Most grad transfers have one season to find out the hard way. We are doomed in this aspect.
Can we get a new coach and manage to get 5 decent in state players? I'll try for 3.5. million .. let that resonate for a second and then think about work Monday, and then tell me this ahole deservers to learn on the job at that salary
Nope wont happen. We are told archie has to get and mold players for four years. At iu you simply cant do it like texas tech with transfers and jc guys. Too complicated we are told. Patience is what is needed big time.
Why do people harp on the coach's salary? If he only made half a million would that make it ok that we were in the NIT? If he made 10 million a year and won the NCAA would that make it worth it?
I'll take sophomore Weiskamp over one and done Romeo any day. And IU has had just one successful grad transfer. One year is a band aid.
