Well…it ended up 20 points and really didn’t ever seem even that close. Neutral field and a huge lead at halftime, an embarrassing lead. And, this was against the #1 overall seed.

1) gotta think playing at the Shoe in Columbus vs a neutral site is worth at least 3 points to the home team

2) I don’t remember IU ever trailing by 34 points when they played at tOSU

It was strange, because having watched both games eye test they 'felt' closer in talent to OSU then us, but not by a lot because defense counts, and they were terrible on defense. Felt like Oregon was able to move the ball better than us, their QB had more time. They sure couldn't run the ball . And probably the eye test was only because OSU was able to coast after the first half of the first half.

First half was one of the biggest ass whippings you'll ever see... Whereas we were very much in the game the entire half with a lead for a lot of it. And at Ohio State.

Herbstreit should say Oregon and Tennessee don't belong, but we did. Looking forward to hearing it.

My casual football fan opinion is IU's defense held up fine in the two losses but the offense looked like it didn't belong on the same stage. May have been different at a neutral site. Part of me wants the final to be O$U vs ND but I also really don't want either of those 2 to win

I've always felt the Bucks at home have at least a full 6 point advantage on anyone.

I definitely want Notre Dame to beat Georgia...curb stomp them actually.

After that, I think Penn State against Ohio State is what I'd most want. With Penn State winning the Natty.

We know beating the defending national champion doesn't matter to ESPN/SEC experts, even when they go 3-0 with wins over Ohio State and Alabama after we beat them. But it would be nice to get another chance at Penn State next year.
