Meanwhile, Space X is doing amazing things. The raptor enigine is the world leader in rocket science and Musk explains the simplicity of the third version very well. Space x is way ahead of the world In metallurgy and 3-d printing which will soon be taken from rocketry to civilian and military applications. Musk posted the details about yesterday’s flight delay—his day job. Yeah, the guy is autistic and doesn’t do emotions, but his willingness to bring his ability to fixing government operations is good for all of us.

More about this. When Gwynne Shotwell said a few months ago that Starship will soon eclipse Starlink as Space x’s most important asset, I didn’t fully understand what she meant. Her message is more clear now. Space x is in the closing stages of permitting a Starship base and launch facility in Florida. It’s expanding the Texas Starship facilities. With its 200ton capacity and reusable rockets, the commercial applications of starship will be enormous and far more advanced than anything else. Space Force is looking at military uses, particularly logistics. In-orbit rocket refueling will begin in a year or so. Amazing things are in store.

You’re chalking up his paranoia to intent to deceive. Based on that text exchange with his new baby momma, I think he believes it. I listened to the Rogan interview and thought he really believed it when he said it.

Of course, that doesn’t mean he might not also be using it (what he believes to be true) for better public perception and to get what he wants.

Not at all--I looked at the clip, and to me it felt like he was bullshitting. I saw the texts as well, but they didn't jive with the previous texts that were released by the Ashley person who released a portion of a text string that says "I want to knock you up again", and it had other language in front of the "I want to knock you up again". This latest release has the same "I want to knock you up again", but has different words/phrases before the romantic missive from Elon.

Color me a skeptic, but he hasn't been overly truthful and has engaged in more than hyperbole over the years and the last two months have been more of that.

I remember playing diablo when it first came out years and years and years ago.

But I can no longer do video games. Losing to my kids 15 years ago at EVERY game of Mario Kart on the Wii was the final straw. I tried fortnight once with my youngest--I think I set an all-time record for how many times I was killed in a minute. The inability to use 26 buttons in sequence is beyond my skills now.
