I work with a Bills fan

They need to find a way to keep Higgins.

They at least have to keep one of Higgins or Hendrickson. But the one they lose, and they will lose one, leaves a giant hole.

They completely whiffed in drafting the secondary, the picks aren't close to what they thought. The O line is still a mess, and they need a credible running threat and TE isn't a position of strength. There are not enough draft picks to cover the holes.

Chase Brown is very good. Small but good. I say let Hendrickson go. He is the easiest to replace in the draft and doesn't require timing/experience with the qb. Add offensive line and defense. TE is an afterthought with stud WRs. Gesicki et al did fine.

They definitely need help on the field, BUT they’ll never go anywhere until they address their greatest need - a competent GM and a fully-staffed and COMPETENT AND PROFESSIONAL scouting and personnel department. Their drafts suck and they can’t identify good free agents.

Oh, brother. How’d it work out letting Bates and Reader leave? And now you want Hendrickson to go, because they - now, this is the Bengals we’re talking about - can draft a replacement? And Mike Woodson can coach and find the post-game handshake line on his own, too.

To be fair, it would be easier to find a replacement. Plus he's 30.

Unfortunately, the bengals defense has sucked with, or without, those guys. At least with Higgins you still have a chance to outscore your opponent.

No they don’t. He’s a nice-to-have, not a need-to-have. Building a top defense, strengthening the offensive line and maybe bring in help for the run game should be priorities over having two WR1s on the roster. Keep Chase for sure though.

Higgins is great, and it’d be great to keep him, but without focusing on the priorities above, the Bengals will struggle similarly to the way they struggled this year.

Hasn’t he already done more than Dan?
They both made one Super Bowl. After that, I'm not sure how to compare.
The next 2-3 years will determine Burrow’s legacy. Relative playoff success aside, I’m not sure he’s passed Andy Dalton on the list of Bengals QBs. Certainly has some catching up to do on Boomer Esiason and Ken Anderson.

Mike Brown is 89 years old so there may be light at the end of the tunnel, but the Bengals will never win anything as long as he’s in charge.

You do have to feel for Burrow for that.
Katie Blackburn has largely been running the show since before Burrow was drafted. Mike still probably has ultimate say though.

I hate the Chiefs. Just as I hate osu football and their fanbase.
Actually, Chiefs fans are nothing like OSU fans. Also, Andy Reid, Mahomes, and Kelce are all pretty likeable, however they are wearing out their welcome at the top, just like the Patriots did. We just had this SB a couple years ago with Philly and KC.

It’d be nice to get teams in that have never won. I wanted a Detroit/Buffalo SB - two teams you can’t possibly hate, because they’re both “lovable losers.”

I know. But you can understand why Bills fans might think of it as a curse. They've been down this road before.
The Chiefs definitely got all the close calls yesterday. For the life of me I do not understand why the Bills call a QB sneak on every down with less than a yard needed. If they only changed up 2/3 times out of 10 they would be in much better position to make it.

I’d end up being fired if it failed but if I was a coach, periodically I’d call a pass play after lining up like it’s going to be a sneak.

IF KC used that play, Reid would occasionally throw out of it, or run a reverse, or even pooch punt out at midfield. I may have as much KC fatigue as anyone, but I will credit Reid for being willing to overturn the apple cart.

The Super Bowl will be interesting, you can bet Philly is studying KC's defense on those plays and their own tendencies.

Frankly, they need to make pushing the ball carrier a penalty just as pulling is. Or limit it to one player pushing, or no pushing behind the line of scrimmage. Or something. This play isn't doing it for me. That Washington-Philly 10-minute sequence of offsides was horrible.

If you scroll to the last couple slides, it’s Travis Kelce trying to sing KC and the Sunshine band during the post game celebratory interview

So he's cringe because he's having fun after a win?

If that's what you got, you ain't got much.

Probably not. I do think he's a massively annoying dork and I hope he's on his 14 1/2 minute of fame though...

Travis Kelce is one of the greatest tight ends who has ever played the game. I don't think he's gotta worry about fame anytime soon.

This has always bothered me. Referring to Kelce as a Tight End is imprecise in my view.

He plays a completely different position with a completely different role than Gronk or Tony Gonzalez.

He’s closer to a receiver.
