At the beginning of the season I seriously considered paying for BigTen+, Peacock, etc. After all we were projected to finish 1st or 2nd in the B10.
The dude saved me ton of cash by making me completely uninterested in IU Ball.
My wallet sure hopes QB and all the other self-serving clowns keeps this up.

Fire him already!

I never bought Peacock either. I had a feeling all the hype was just hype given who the coach is. But I did see the highlights and it looked like Wisconsin was playing 5 or 3 when they jumped out to a 20 point lead.

Woodson is losing the team rapidly. Think some guys are tired of him and his poor coaching efforts.
 
I have die hard IU friends. I told them all, his first year with TJD would be the best team he would have. They all laughed at me because of his NBA experience and how he would recruit. When I mentioned his age, they skipped over that part.

This is done.

I don’t think I’ve been this apathetic over IU basketball in my life. Not even during those early Crean years. Didn’t watch or listen to one minute of the Wisconsin game this week and I have Peacock. Probably won’t watch the Michigan game on Saturday either. Will get more enjoyment out of streaming some old episodes of Gunsmoke. I just want the season to be over at this point.

Yup Gunsmoke is awful darn close to the bottom of the barrel. If they would have cast someone cute as Miss Kitty it would have been much better.

So dumb. Just looking for attention?

I’m still shocked at the number of so-called basketball fans or even IU fans of other sports who don’t think BIG+ is possibly the best bargain in all of streaming services. And then even when I don’t watch the men play on Peacock, I watch other Big Ten games and the IU women are on there several times.
 
If online rumors are to be believed it sounds like Woodson is gone at year end and an announcement could come at anytime.

If you have unlimited time to watch tv but many do not. They have kids in sports, etc. So paying for peacock to watch a few IU games probably is not worth it given the state of the program.

Of all the possible ways this season could go, end, etc... I think Woodson announcing he's "retiring" at seasons end is probably the best all around. There will be quite a lot of chatter about it being a forced retirement...but I suspect it would dramatically change the mood in Assembly Hall for our remaining games. As awful as we looked Tuesday night, we do still have a heartbeat if the team can galvanize, and play decent basketball the last 3-4 weeks. And I think a retirement announcement could do that, and would improve the vibe for everyone involved, even Woody.

Obviously unlikely. But it would polish the turd of the season, and give Dolson more freedom to actively pursue the next coach, and openly allow candidates to consider the job.
