This is a huge pull in a really tough recruiting environment. Good on CTC. We have a chance to be really good next year. With all key players returning, we will have the nation's best offense. If we become simply a top 100 defense next year, we are what Notre Dame was this year. If we are a top 60 defense (which is probably a stretch) we are similar to what Wisconsin is this year. I am using Pomeroy as my basis for these comparisons.
I still don't think Crean is the best man to get us to where we want to be. But he has assembled a team that can be really good. It's OK to admit that and enjoy the team next year for what they are.
