Yes, mistakes will be made, but I have the Denver Broncos D on my Fantasy team, and guess what..?!?
They were the # 1 ranked defense going into Sunday & had to face Adrian Peterson, and JUST LIKE IU against EE, they pretty much shut down AP in the first half........he only had 14 rushes for 35 yards..
...but then BOOM, on a 4th-and-one in 3rd Q he BUSTS IT UP THE MIDDLE FOR 48 YARDS & a TD...! (sound familiar?). So suddenly he's at a respectable 15 rushes for 83 yards...
OK: so he only did it once & not three times in the 2nd half as EE did, but my point is---->
Happens to even the best PRO Ds sometimes when playing aggressive D & trying to stop those short-yardage plays!
But I'd rather see that aggressive style than the (pre-Knorr) standard 4-3, with the LBs 3 yards back, playing "bend-but-don't break" all the way down the field...... ..after a while, the benefits will much outweigh the errors....
"L'audace l'audace toujours l'audace...!!!"
