Iowa has been playing like a better team lately perhaps. Maybe like the beat big10 team, although theres not much separation at the top.
Illinois backed into the regular season championship and number 1 seed. Took Wisky’s best player getting hurt and running into a suddenly hot Nebraska team.
Iowa has been playing great ball for about 3 weeks. Led much of the way at Champaign. Bunch of missed FTs late in a raucous setting and lost by just 2.
Here’s hoping IU can avenge another (would be the 3rd) regular season loss later today.

Iowa isn’t exactly a scrub team. We only played them once and it was @Iowa. We’ll really see what we’re made of in the last 10-12 minutes of today’s game. That’s when we’ll likely start showing signs of fatigue from our third game in three days.
The way Ierwa has been playing lately, I dont like our chances! Ierwa is a complete team. IU cant afford to have any dumb IQ lapses against them! Plus, the loss of JG hurts bigtime. Hope his loss doesnt mean more minutes for PS!!!

Iowa won’t care if we score early as long as it is quick in the shot clock.
They will want to exacerbate the number of possessions.
Pound the ball inside and don’t give them 2nd chance opportunities.
I agree but we don’t want to see 38-33 after 12 minutes in the first half. Even if we are the 38.
