The team was in the Assembly Hall and that WR has hops and I think he will be a very good WR for IU. I wish I had the link but it was on tweeter and I will try to find it later tonight if I can. Did anyone else see the video?

Found it. Eli is 6‘ 1” (24/7 recruiting) and human highlight reel stuffing basketballs in Assembly Hall.
Even if Eli’s straight line speed is average for a collegiate WR, the explosiveness shown here should translate to separation from his breaks at the top of the route tree. [In addition, explosiveness leads to clean releases from the line of scrimmage].

Found another image listing Eli as #1 on the team for ”force plate” vertical; Fryfogle was #2.

being a mad dunker doesn’t equate to All American status…but does anyone think this walk on has some potential to push for future playing time? That was serious hops he showed!

Eli shows the explosiveness to be very good receiver and it also shows he doesn't have hands of stone. I want to see how coach Henry develops our WRs.

I think we probably need to see him on a football field before we make any football declarations.

If nothing else, it just shows these guys really are exceptional athletes. Now it's on the coaches to utilize them in ways to take advantage of their athleticism. Probably easier said than done.
It's my impression that we have three (or more) Walk-Ons at the Slot Receiver position who are extremely athletic and have good quicks... Should be interesting to see who makes it onto the field... With E.J.s leaping ability he might even be a factor at the wide receiver position...
