I hate to be like this, but I hope

Because Jesus rose from the dead. 500 people saw him after the Crucifixion. 1 Corinthians 15:3-7 is the first Christian Creed which is a formulaic written form which is a learning device. Think of a Creed like you would have sayings in school as you are studying to remember things.

You are why people are leaving organizeed Christianity. The intolerant demand that your religion is the only one that counts.

You aren't listening. A dead man got up from the grave and told me he was gonna raise me too if I put my trust in Him. If people reject that then this is on them.

I’m listening to a guy who doesn’t seem to have an advanced degrree in religion. Maybe not even a bachelors.

I think Purdue outsmarts them tonight.
Houston is extremely talented and goes 100 miles an hour but Sampson will choke. He seems to do that when it matters..
Brains over brawn tonight.

Why do you hate to be like that? I hope the same. The only thing I'll say that leaves a sliver of a chance it might not happen is this group of Houston guards aren't nearly as "nasty" defensively as some of his recent teams have been. But overall, they can be a dominant defensive team. Purdue should struggle tonight.
Houston’s defense is throttling Purdue. They are quick and switch well.

Maybe as a group but Uzan is really good defensively. He is like an Andrew Nembhard clone. Never know but he'll likely be a 2nd round steal like Nembhard was for Pacers when enters the draft. Carlisle drafted Brunson in the 2nd round in Dallas then Nembhard in 2nd round for Pacers.
Agreed if he was around in the second Pacers should grab him. Good ball handler as well.

Houston is REALLY good. They look to me like a NC team.

Loyer is the only thing keeping Purdue in the game and he’ll wilt like he always does.

TKR is being absolutely dominated by Houston’s bigs.

Furst is the most useless player in the world outside of Berg.

This is a basketball board.

163rd ranked offense out of 364 division one teams.

Number 1 ranked defense.

10th in offensive rebounds.

They are a well coached team whose weakness is their average offense.
Purdue has got them completely discombobulated because Houston isn’t used to teams that play methodically as opposed to street ball. Houston just tries to bomb away as much as they can. They better start hitting something or Purdue beats them by just moving the ball and getting good shots. Patience over panic.

That’s fair.

I just think Houston outclasses Purdue in every facet outside of half court offense.

I could be wrong, of course.

I did? Jealousy is not always a sin. If a married man's wife is flirting with another man or a married woman's husband is flirting with another woman then that would cause jealousy. But it is a righteous jealousy. The Bible says in Exodus 34:14 that God is a jealous God and what that means is He is against anybody from worshiping anyone or anything else because He is the one true God. That would be another example of righteous jealousy.
But your not GOD! GOD has no sin, but you do, and I do, Our jealousy would be a sin!

Having been in the Marines, I prefer being Catholic. It's only been 2 years but I respond better to the regimented Mass setting more than a Protestant service. One of the things in my life that I enjoy is going to the Carlisle Prison every Thursday and being a part of their Mass. I've gotten a chance to make some pretty good friends there amongst the 15-20 inmates I see every week. I admire many other forms of religion though. I enjoy having open-minded conversations from the historical and literal side of things and applying that to the symbolic nature of the scripture. By the letter of the law I'm probably far from Catholic but it's where I choose to plug in at. There's one God and it all comes down to doing the right thing. I've read various religious texts over the years. A lot of similarities in the beginning with each and then at some point human hands take the same message in a unique direction.

Just my take.
