Why do you hate to be like that? I hope the same. The only thing I'll say that leaves a sliver of a chance it might not happen is this group of Houston guards aren't nearly as "nasty" defensively as some of his recent teams have been. But overall, they can be a dominant defensive team. Purdue should struggle tonight.
It will take Purdue to be successful on 8-10 flops to make this one competitive.
You shouldn't have to apologize for anything. As much as I hate what Sampson did to the IU program, that was only for a few years (although, arguably it could be said we're still struggling in the wake of that to return to prominence). But, even when including all that time since, it pales in comparison to the fact that I've hated PU my whole life, and will continue to. I hope Houston wins by 30!
Well they do have home court advantage. I have no idea how PU, who probably should've been a 5 seed the way they folded down the stretch got to play in Indy. It's been a damn lucky tourney for them so far....hope it ends in dramatic fashion tonight!!!
I have no issues pulling for Houston. Sampson did at IU what he did at Oklahoma. The blame falls on IU for expecting anything differently and/or not controlling him
Maybe as a group but Uzan is really good defensively. He is like an Andrew Nembhard clone. Never know but he'll likely be a 2nd round steal like Nembhard was for Pacers when enters the draft. Carlisle drafted Brunson in the 2nd round in Dallas then Nembhard in 2nd round for Pacers.
