Brooks is a former Fort Wayne product who spent three years at UK (2019-2022) and two years at Washington (2022-2024). He went undrafted in the 2024 NBA draft but led the Pelicans to a win over the Hornets yesterday by scoring 17 points. Not sure if anyone else is interested, but I found it really surprising he was even in the NBA. Apparently, he was called up recently from the G League due to several Pelicans injuries.
