There has been a lot of discussion on the secondary and the ability to give up big plays. The obvious easy answer is dial up the pressure if we can. One thing I've noticed is that our team does a terrible job at hiding their intentions to blitz. If you watch a lot of plays where we blitz, our LB or Corners will quickly walk up on the blitz and then when the ball isn't snapped they go back to their position. They eventually end up blitzing, but the element of surprise is gone now that the line/RB has seen the intentions. It's critical as a blitzer to maintain depth and come at the snap to help capture the element of surprise, but also when you blitz you need to run to daylight. A mistake a lot of people make when they blitz is that they run right into the blocker trying to blow them up versus attacking a shoulder/side to try and squeeze through faster.
