This team isn’t going into the Horseshoe with a Tom Allen or Bill Lynch. This team is led by Cig Cignetti. He expects to win today and so does his team. We are going to get this done today.
Cignetti not calling timeouts the last drive before half on 1st and 2nd down is f#cking terrible.

Yeah and having the mature chemistry of the jmu kids is like 2-3 star plus. That won’t happen again where you bring over half of a really good team. Hopefully the excitement and success of this year can be parlayed into 4 star kids

Agree there but pass rushing and overall speed matters. That punt return is a result of speed. It kills in football.

Pass rushing speed is the game changer. The blocking backs just wave as the rush goes by.
He's a great coach but not a miracle worker. Deserves to be well paid and our coach as long as he wants. We won't do better. This season was the perfect storm of a garbage schedule combined with a portal haul that included many of his JMU players. He probably coaches another 7 seasons and I'd expect 7-5 or so to be the norm.
