"Indiana is getting 62 percent of bets to win the game and cover the generous 14 point spread".
Wow, just wow.
I'm no gambler, but I don't know that I'd give 14. I'll be thrilled with any ole win.
Sarrett and Rourke both sucked and we still won. That's what great teams do.I can't remember being this nervous about an IU football game. Did not like the playcalling on that short drive after the punt.
Worst performance of the year by far. But still won. Insane to think that if we beat OSU somehow we'll finish the regular season undefeated. I never thought I'd see that in a million years. Also, that was IU's first true test. Not because Michigan is so good, but because that was the first time fate put IU up against the wall and demanded they prove they were the better team. In previous seasons, they would have let UM march down the field for the winning score on the last drive.
Watch your jinx-breathing mouth. Purdue might suck, but nobody sucks enough to not be able to f*ck up a good season at the worst possible time.Worst performance of the year by far. But still won. Sorcery. Gotta be sorcery.Worst performance of the year by far. But still won. Insane to think that if we beat OSU somehow we'll finish the regular season undefeated. I never thought I'd see that in a million years.
Not a chance in hell. They're one of the worst teams I've ever seen.Watch your jinx-breathing mouth. Purdue might suck, but nobody sucks enough to not be able to f*ck up a good season at the worst possible time.
IU just showed their resilience. The naysayers will have a problem rationalizing a 45-10 IU win. But they would likely say that UM has given up and that IU still hasn't played anyone.
Nevermind that other teams are squeaking by the same opponents that IU has blasted.
I guess for respect it takes IU beating UM, OSU, and (well, a given) PU. Winning a Big Ten CG would be a bonus.
Every single iu team I have ever watched would have lost. SomehowSarrett and Rourke both sucked and we still won. That's what great teams do.

he did recruit (and coach) those guys......It’s honestly the jmu kids. They were at the top of the fun belt. Boise state ish. Just put new uniforms on them. Basically augmented a very good team with a culture of winning. The test will be if he can do it from scratch. @UncleMark
He built that James Madison team?he did recruit (and coach) those guys......
he has an eye for football guys that want to compete

he coached there 4 yearsHe built that James Madison team?
he coached there 4 years
google him.
I’m fine with them playing right away but yes I agree on staying two years or sitting a year. Coaching and recruiting must be awful nowI think he brought in 31 transfers, 13 from JMU. The JMU kids certainly helped set expectations, but our success isn't solely on them. Now that everyone expects to and will get paid, you have playing time and team success to sell. The success has been taken care of, the playing time will have to be managed as well as you can with 18 year olds who think they're hot shit.
Personally, I'd like to see them make HS kids stay two years before getting to transfer and play immediately. A hot shot freshman needs to learn how to delay gratification and work for his playing time instead of running off after his first year. JuJu, I'm looking at you.
I will say sitting out a year is awful. We had a parade all American freshman transfer in from Rutgers when I was a senior. By the end of that year he grew an entire pot farm in the bathroom of his apartment. It’s a lot to ask a kidI think he brought in 31 transfers, 13 from JMU. IU v. Purdue gonna look like Trump v. Kamala? Not a chance in hell. They're one of the worst teams I've ever seen.
Meh. Michigan's offense is terrible.IU just showed their resilience.
Hard fought game and won. I have no doubt we beat OSU.
Their qb. Mercy

Sarrett dropped two big passes in 4th quarter that could have cost the game.Sarrett and Rourke both sucked and we still won. That's what great teams do.
They were.If we play like we have been, they'll be down by 14 after the first half.
What do you mean 11-1?Should be up to 6 ish
Don’t get blown out by osu. Finish 11-1. Playoff bound. Madness
