I will help, Gallup shows Trump has a 94% approval rate among those that self-identify as Republican. Are you suggesting most Republicans have left the GOP? https://news.gallup.com/poll/203198/presidential-approval-ratings-donald-trump.aspx

huh?

No, I am suggesting that this keyboard wee man has now suggested not once but twice that I am a Trump supporter, which anyone that reads these boards knows is laughable. I challenged him/her/it to back the claim up the first time...reminded it three time and shocking news...it never did.

Now it doubles down on the same stupidity.

I don't buy that marv. purely anecdotal but a lot of folks i know are voting libertarian, biden, or sitting out. they self-identify as republican. they've haven't left the gop they've left trump

I cannot dispute Marv's 94% other than to say that a lot more than 6% of the self-described Pubs I know and work with are voting just as you say...Biden, lib or taking a pass this year.

There are a lot of conservatives, like Will and Boot, that will not vote Trump. But I do not think they have left the GOP.

A lot of populists have filled in.

They can gather in public and play sports in front of people and not cardboard cutouts, and they have far less cases in their whole country than there are just in the White House...

But.... do they have their freedom? Can they own the librards?

Dumb on so many levels. That’s a country smaller than Kentucky. Vermont has the same number of cases as NZ. Compare those two. It’s just as meaningless bc it ignores so many variables. National response. Do you still not grasp the lion’s share of salient decisions are done at the county level.

Trump F’d up and continues to do so but comparisons like this are absurd. My county exec decides whether I can do the things you note. Play sports. Watch sports. Have a business. No one nationally. Period.

OK, combine New Zealand, "thigh land", and Vietnam Nam. 130 million people. Still fewer cases than in the staff of the fool-in-chief.
50 percent of Americans think one way 50 percent another. Throw in federalism and over 3,000 counties and we were uniquely situated to F this up even under a competent prez.

This isn't remotely accurate. 1,871 as of yesterday for NZ

Add Innerthighland and Vietnam (if you chose to believe their numbers) and the total is 6,616.

Trump's spreader only got 3,000?

Like those fascist black-owned businesses destroyed by the Marxist criminals....like the black residents whose doctor and pharmacy and grocery stores were burned to the ground by your fvcking heroes..
You are a sickening shill..!

This will be a two post thread.

Part 1-

Wow. I don’t even know how to respond to this kind of post.

My “heroes” are the folks that continue to peacefully protest. The folks that are doing the crazy chit at night are almost always organized criminals.

Also, the groups that are largely amping up the conflict are the police. Not the other way around. I watched a vice news segment where the vice news journalist was covering a protest in Portland. The level of force/violence used by the police were insane. It’s basically just more gaslighting. After all, the protesters are largely protesting horrible behavior... by the police.

Stop. Watching. Fox. “News”. They’re deliberately scaring you, because it keeps you watching it.

'According to people with knowledge of the conversations'....

'Sources say'

It never stops.

Nameless, faceless entities..

The _ _ _ .

'Even if it's not true, it's just so believable...'

Part 2: Serious questione for you.

1. How much of the reporting about Trump is true?

2. And, why do people that worked under him, including high ranking military folks that are inclined to not say anything, all describe the same themes about Trump? Namely, that he’s an idiot and that he is reckless/dangerous for our national security.

3. Please describe to me the process that journalists in the “MSM” follow before they publish a story.

Then, please describe to me the same process for sites like “the blaze” and Fox News

4. How much of what Trump says is actually true? Unless you say all of it, how do you determine how to distinguish between what he says is true, and what is false?

5. What media sources do you regularly consume? Who is your favorite Fox News personality? And why is that person your favorite?

Please list your sources for us. It’ll be enlightening for us.

6. How do you feel about Q-anon? The proud boys? Various “militia” groups?

7. Does it bother you that so many of Trump’s entourage have been indicted/arrested/convicted? Or, are they all “fake”/vindictive prosecutions?

I can guess your answers, but I’d like to know where you’re coming from, and how you are able to reject everything that has come out about Trump. This will help me understand you and how you process things

8. How often do you tell people to “get off your lawn”? (I’m kidding).

As a general principal, It’s fascinating to me that some folks have completely rejected the free press, and have replaced those sources with sources that are unreliable- at best. I’m not saying you’re one of those folks, but the picture that is emerging suggests that you are.

Thanks in advance for helping me understand you.

People have not rejected the free press exactly. What they have done and what I have outlined here before is that they have selected "their" free press and have become part of that fanbase whether that be FOX, MSNBC, OAN, etc. These networks entertain their fans giving them the red meat and talking points to meet their daily requirements.

Journalism and Journalists are almost extinct, replaced by "news entertainers", Rush Limbaugh got this really rolling back in the nineties.

You know what anecdotal evidence is worth. Most likely, the share of Republicans you know that don't support Trump is higher than the rest of the party because, quite frankly, you probably run with a smarter, higher class of Republican than the average voter. You are, after all, something of an elitist. ;)

Lmao. Hardly. I’m the product of a parade of bad decisions goat. That said I really don’t think we’re going to have the “shy” voter effect like 2016. Folks have a body of work and it ain’t good. The novelty’s worn off

FWIW, there isn't really any evidence we had much of a shy voter effect in 2016, either. National polls were well within the MOE. Undecideds broke for Trump, and that made the difference in key states, which just happened to be states that had a dearth of good polling.

I'm not saying the shy voter isn't a real thing, but it's generally overblown.

Oh my goodness. There really are people like you out there. And Trump makes fun of you every single day. Sad

I want to laugh. But instead, I feel sadness for folks like Mats-a- whatever. He’s so bought in, they’ll believe anything so long as they won’t feel as if they’ve been duped.

The irony is that the more they go down the rabbit hole, the more “sunk” they become.

Its a fascinating look at how otherwise normal people become indoctrinated into a cult. It IS sad, but since it’s inevitable, you may as well sit back and watch the train wreck.

What happens when dear leader is no longer in power? Of all future developments, this is the one that terrifies me the most. I can’t see a lot of folks like this guy being reasonable, or even being able to decipher what reality looks like.

Honestly do you want more government and socialism? I guess if you couldn’t make it owning your own business I could see why.

We don't have any socialism.

We do not have a purely market driven economy. We have social programs that help people of need. It's still not socialism, so when you say "more socialism" discuss the markets where this exists and how any of it affects you in a negative way.

Yeah, but you're willing to admit Trump screwed up. That's not aimed at you. You may not agree with the comparison, but there are idiots who think Trump is doing a great job.

No one with a modicum of objectivity could think trump’s doing a great job

When you are in a basketball discussion on the premium you act just like him!

Huh??

You wrote, "You can’t put the astronomical debt on Trump because that’s coming from the Pub Senate."

I call bullshit. That's on Trump too, because he takes "credit" for success under the same policy. Do you think Mitch McConnell is John Stuart Mill or Alan Greenspan or Alfred E. Neumann?
I’m talking about in terms of judging Trump’s conservative cred. The New Conservative Debt is McConnell’s genius: he realized stimulus is great for the short-term economy so why not when the Pubs are in control.

But actually debt is in fact another point where Trump is liberal. He’d love to spend more of our money. But he’d change like the wind on that to get re-elected. It’s not an issue.

No, I leave the name calling to others. I'm not lewd. I don't lie, nor am I a habitual liar. I don't respect everything I read or reply to, nor am I required to. Any inferences you take from that are up to you.

I mean, every now and then, I might fib a little saying you've made a fine point, but sometimes you do and I'm sincere about it.

'Feel the sadness for this guy'...
Thanks for the laugh.
The special variety of stupid who thinks the Hiden/Heels Up duo is a winning play needs to get current on his meds, especially the anti-depressants.
